Design Your Own Pillow Case
What You Will Need:- Blank White Pillowcases
- Felt Tip Markers
- Puff paint (optional)
- Beads, needle and thread (optional)
- Newspapers
- Lay out blank pillow cases on top of newspapers on the table
- Use Felt Tip Markers to decorate your pillowcases with your favorite shapes and colors! You can also decorate with puff paint, or bright colored beads and thread.
- Fill pillowcases with pillows and have a fun pillow fight!
Character Game
After watching a movie of your choice with your friends, you can play a fun game!
What You Will Need:- Movie of your choice
- Markers
- Hat
- Strips of Paper
- Write down a character from the movie on each sheet of paper
- Put sheets of paper in the hat
- Have each girl choose a sheet and remind them not to share what their sheet says
- Have each girl take turns reenact a scene as the character on their sheet
- Have the other girls guess who the character is
Bookmark Party Favors
Have fun making these great party favors- a gift both your guests + their parents will love!
What You Will Need:- Construction Paper
- Markers
- Scissors
- Glue
- Ribbon
- Glitter (optional)
- Cut construction paper into large rectangular strips
- Cut your favorite shapes out of different colored construction paper
- Glue your shapes onto rectangular strips
- Decorate your bookmarks with glitter or any other craft materials you may have
- Make a small hole about a ¼ inch from the top of your bookmark and tie a pretty ribbon through the hole. Now you have a great party favor that you can use both at home and at school!
Sleepover Chocolate Chip or M&M Pancakes!
Yowzer! No sleepover party is complete without Chocolate Chip pancakes. Hot and delicious, it's like eating dessert for breakfast!
Ingredients (see below - or use the last three ingredients with your favorite pancake mix)- 1 egg
- 1 Cup white or wheat flour
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 1 Tablespoon white sugar
- 2 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 oz semisweet chocolate chips, or less to taste (you can also use M&Ms)
- 2 peeled and cut bananas (optional)
- Cooking spray, butter or margarine
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg with a fork.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, milk, sugar, oil, baking powder, salt, and vanilla; Mix together.
- Stir in the chocolate chips (or M&Ms) and bananas
- Have your parent carefully heat a large pan over medium heat (non-stick pans are great). Spray with cooking spray or add 1 teaspoon of butter. Spoon batter for each pancake onto the pan and cook until bubbly on the top and golden brown on the bottom.
- Have your mom or dad flip the pancakes and cook until golden brown on the other side (30 seconds – 1 minute). You can serve plain, with maple syrup or with a light sprinkling of powdered sugar. YUM!
